About Me
Ross Soodoosingh is a serial entrepreneur whose journey began in 1999 when, at just 14 years old, he founded his first unofficial business during the early days of online shopping. Spotting a price discrepancy between Amazon’s burgeoning marketplace and traditional retailers like Best Buy and Sears/Kmart, Ross seized the opportunity to establish a thriving retail arbitrage operation. His innovative approach gained traction during the 2008 financial crisis, as many legacy retailers faced bankruptcy, clearing inventory that Ross leveraged to expand his operations—pioneering what is now widely recognized as Retail Arbitrage 1.
Ross earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business from Saint John’s University in 2007. Following graduation, he launched his career on Wall Street with FXCM, a leading foreign exchange brokerage. Over 12 years at FXCM, Ross rose to the role of Senior Vice President of Marketing, playing a pivotal role in the company’s growth and its eventual $300 million sale to Leucadia Financial Group in 2015 2.
In 2019, Ross formally established Huddle Fifty, a marketing agency specializing in financial markets. This marked his transition from early entrepreneurial ventures into the creation of a structured corporate entity, leveraging his years of experience in marketing and finance. Since then, Ross has held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Marketing Officer for sFOX, a crypto liquidity provider (2021–2023), Multibank (2019), and Investment.com, a real estate investment platform (2023).
Ross has also served as an advisor to groundbreaking companies disrupting traditional markets. His advisory work includes contributions to Masterworks, a platform democratizing art investments 3, and Diamond Standard, which is establishing the world’s first diamond exchange 4.
